Description
Through this series entitled “Transformative Reflections”, I am exploring the transformative and creative potential of reflections as seen in the Rideau Canal in Ottawa. In this series, I integrate the surrounding architecture and nature to paint an abstract composition on the canvas of the canal’s murky waters. The ever-changing nature of the water causes sizes, colours and shapes from the surrounding objects to become distorted, creating an abstract-style painting.
