Inside the Story
Designing a Visual Identity for AOF’s Program Outreach
When AOF Immigration Canada needed to promote their community event aimed at helping individuals regain their immigration status, they turned to the power of visual storytelling. The goal was clear: design engaging promotional materials that could inform, attract, and mobilize viewers across multiple platforms.
The Challenge
Reaching a Diverse Audience Across Platforms
The event, titled Retrouver Votre Statut, focused on critical immigration services such as sponsorship and status recovery. With a primarily francophone audience and limited promotional time, AOF needed clear, emotionally resonant visuals for use on YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook. The project required not just information—but connection.
The Solution
Branded Motion Graphics and Poster Design
A clean visual language was developed using the organization’s brand colors and key symbols of Canadian identity. Two primary materials were created:
- A 90-second motion graphics presentation featuring AOF’s CEO Nadege Alonso, framed by Ottawa’s skyline and layered animations to highlight the message.
- An event poster designed for both print and digital sharing, with visual consistency to match the video and reinforce recognition across platforms.

These materials were optimized for social engagement and accessibility, encouraging viewers to act quickly and reserve their spot.
The Outcome
From Visual Impact to Community Engagement
The motion graphics presentation provided clarity and trust through a warm, personal message. Meanwhile, the cohesive poster design ensured AOF’s contact details and event information were easily shareable—whether pinned to a wall or forwarded in a message.
Together, these pieces elevated a local event into a professionally branded campaign that aligned with AOF’s mission and credibility.
