About the Collection

In Abstract Waters, I turn my lens toward the surface of water—not as a passive element of nature, but as an active collaborator in artistic creation.

This collection brings together photographic series taken over several years, each reflecting a distinct moment, mood, or environment — captured primarily in Ottawa, Canada, along the Rideau Canal, the Ottawa River, and other quiet waterscapes.

These photographs reveal the fleeting moments when light, color, and motion converge into abstract compositions that blur the line between the real and the imagined. Water becomes a mirror, a canvas, and a storyteller—shifting endlessly with time, wind, and light.
